The Eco-Septic "Outback Series"

Designed and manufactured for the Australian conditions and needs. The Australian demand for sewage treatment has different requirements to the common overseas models.

With increased septic digestion, easy clean and automatic self-cleaning ability, large bacterial support media surface area, large clarification for settling with more automatic self-cleaning, chlorine disinfection and a choice of pumping or overflow disposal you Outback model has been designed from years of experience.

The systems are easily to install and easily serviceable to keep installation and running costs down. This design process along with proven performance has made Eco-Septic a leader in wastewater treatment.

Q. Who tests the performance of their commercial systems to the new Australian Standards?
A. We do! 10/10/10 Advanced secondary quality treatment.

How it works

Eco-Septic is an industrial leader in design and manufacturing of packaged Sewage Treatment Plants. All our plants are constructed to highest quality. All designs are oversized to accommodate small expansion and peak hydraulic loads.

The large volume helps aid the shock loading and increased digestion time. Shock loading characteristics are set up depending on individual

Aeration Section

Air is introduced to the effluent from the septic section. This creates the ideal aerobic environment for bacteria to treat the water.

DisinfectionSection

Whilst disinfection is not the main treatment process it is used as a final sterilisation process. The treated water is passed through a chlorination process.

Featuring pipes and filtration systems, blue arrows point to various components, indicating the flow and structure of this essential setup for both domestic and commercial applications.

Septic Section 2

The large surface area allows growth build-up of an aerobic bacteria and physical separation of large and smaller particles even helping remove nanoparticles. Access/inspection tube is large enough for regular sludge cleaning.

Growth Media

Surface area is important for bacterial growth. Diffuser design helps pass the water through the media plates continually treating the effluent.

Clarification Section

Settling out is very important before disinfection. This clarification uses gravity against a lower-up flow of the water to remove particles. These are sent back to the primary for retreatment.
