About us

Macquarie Valley Wastewater Services is locally owned and operated by Neil “Ozzie” Dunn, servicing the central west and surrounds since 2004.
We have been the Local agent for Econocycle Aerated Waste Treatment System (AWTS) for 17 years. 

The business complies with all NSW Health domestic wastewater standards and local council laws.

  • Each time your system is serviced (on a three-monthly cycle) the customer and the council receive a full-service field report.
  • Every three months your system is serviced and maintained. If there are any repairs or breakdowns they will be attended to.
  • Throughout your service, air filters and clarifier are cleaned. The system is then backwashed and sludge return tested. The crust level is checked. 
    All operational units of your system are checked (air blower, septic pump and float switch). 
    The balance of the the air in system is observed so aeration occurs equally. 
  • pH and chlorine levels of the water are then tested and adjusted accordingly. 
    The final step is to ensure the irrigation system is functioning.
